Filip Marczewski

Film director, born in 1974 in Łódź.

Son of film director Wojciech Marczewski and actress Teresa Marczewska. Finished academic studies in humanities at Warsaw University and is currently about to graduate from the Directing Department of the Polish Film School in Łódź. Worked as television reporter for a few years. His short student films have been screened and won a number of awards at numerous film festivals. Melodramat / Melodrama was nominated for the student's Oscar by the American Film Academy.
