Born in 1976 in Krakow. Graduate of the Cinematography Department of the Polish Film School in Łódź. Cinematographer and director.
He made several short films of his own, two of which, Claire and Kręgi snu / Circle of Dreams, have been awarded the Golden Tadpole (an award given to film students) at the Festival of the Art of Cinematography "Camerimage". He is the cinematographer in many documentaries and a number of feature films. In 2002, for his cinematography in Męska sprawa / A Man Thing, Godfrejów, along with director Sławomir Fabicki, was nominated for an Oscar in the best Live Action Short Film category. The cinematography in Męska sprawa also brought him the award at the International Short Film Festival in Clermont-Ferrand. In 2003, he was nominated for Felix - the European Film Award - in the best cameraman category for the cinematography in Hans-Christian Schmid's Lichter. In 2006, during the Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia, he won the best cinematography award for Sławomir Fabicki's Z odzysku / Retrieval.
