Jerzy Hoffman's production is Poland's first ever 3D feature film, was filmed using the Fusion Camera System and is one of the most expensive movies in the history of Polish cinema.
The film tells the story of the 1920 clash between the newly reborn Poland and Soviet Russia. Known as the so-called "Miracle on the Vistula", the Battle of Warsaw, Poland's defeat of the Red Army shortly after the regaining of national independence. This epic war melodrama set in WWI recalls a final battle that not only decided the fate of Warsaw, but all of Europe. The film features cinematography based on stereoscopic technology supervised by Sławomir Idziak.
The film stars Borys Szyc, Natasza Urbańska, Daniel Olbrychski (as Józef Piłsudski), Bogusław Linda, Aleksander Domogarow, Wiktor Zborowski and Wojciech Pszoniak.
It has been nominated for the 2012 Golden Reel Awards in Los Angeles.
