Września, January 27 - January 30, 2010
languages: Polish  / English

Obrazek
The film festival "Prowincjonalia" has been dubbed a festival of peripheral or outsiders’ cinema - and indeed it presents feature and documentary films that concentrate on the life in the country and small towns; it presents original and highly artistic cinema promoting simple, universal values, subtle narratives, and serene esthetics.

The program of the 17th Polish Film Festival "Prowincjonalia 2010" includes: screenings of feature and documentary films in the competition; additional special screenings and premiere showings, featuring meetings with the artists; a retrospective review of films by Janusz Morgenstern; series: "Provinces of the World - Guides through Life / Prowincje Świata - Przewodnicy Życia", presenting films from various areas of culture, and "Let's talk about future / Porozmawiajmy o przyszłości" - featuring films by students and graduates of the Łódź Film School, WRiTV in Katowice, Andrzej Wajda's Master School of Film Directing, and Warsaw Film School; press conferences with the artists, meetings with the audience, and many more.
