The Lipski family had their palace built in Lewkow in the years 1786-1791. The design was the work of Jan Chrystian Kamsetzer, the architect of King Stanislaw August. Both the buildings and their interiors are of the classicist style, manifesting itself by the four-column Ionian portico with a triangular tympanum on the front facade and rich stucco ornaments on the exterior and interior walls. The palace and two outhouses in the yard are surrounded by a landscape park with many national monument trees.

The palace was restored in 1972-87 and an exhibition of interiors restored to their original, classicist appearance opened on the so-called ceremonial floor in 1991. The Rotund Room attracts attention with its slender column stove, round in shape as is the Room itself. The Landscape Drawing Room with its Louis Philippe style furniture is decorated with illusionistic wall paintings - original early nineteenth century polychromy showing landscapes with elements of romantic architecture and creating the impression of the interior opening to the outside views. The Cupboards Room (the former Egyptian Drawing Room) contains a gallery of Sarmatian portraits, while the so-called Day Room houses a collection of patriotic paintings, including portraits of Polish nineteenth century heroes. The furnishings and decoration of these most presentable of the palace's rooms are in full and perfect harmony with its architecture.
